BatchEnhance Image

BatchEnhance Image is a Windows desktop app by 3thousand30 that upscales and prepares batches of images for high-quality print output — posters, photo books, fine art prints, and more.

Point it at a folder. Pick a scale and DPI. Click Enhance. Done.

Get it on Microsoft Store

How it works

  1. Select your input folder — pick any folder of JPG, PNG, WebP, or TIFF images
  2. Choose your settings — scale (1×–8×), DPI (150 / 300 / 600), and output format
  3. Enhance — the app upscales each image using high-quality Lanczos3 resampling, applies a sharpening pass, and embeds the DPI metadata
  4. Open your output folder — enhanced files land alongside your originals in an Enhanced subfolder

Image processing happens locally on your machine. The app may request the Inter UI font from Google Fonts for display consistency when an internet connection is available.

Key features

  • Multi-pass Lanczos3 upscaling — 2×, 3×, 4×, 6×, 8× scale options with a high-quality resampling algorithm
  • 1× DPI-only mode — embed print DPI metadata without changing pixel dimensions
  • Three DPI presets — 150 (large format), 300 (standard print), 600 (fine art / archival)
  • Format conversion — output as JPG, PNG, WebP, or keep the original format
  • Skip existing files — re-run without reprocessing already-enhanced images
  • Batch progress — real-time counter with per-error logging
  • Local image processing — output generation happens on your device using Sharp
