Batch Resize Video
Batch Resize Video is a Windows desktop app by 3thousand30 for creating fixed-size MP4 copies from a whole folder of videos locally. Originals remain separate and untouched.
Choose exact dimensions or a social-media preset, decide whether to preserve the whole frame or crop it to fill, preview a real video frame, then resize the batch with the bundled FFmpeg engine.
Current release
Version 0.1.0.1 adds a clearer crop-review workflow: choose a nine-point focus, draw a locked-aspect crop frame, or switch to Split to compare the original and resized frame side by side.
How it works
- Select an input folder — BRV scans supported videos directly in that folder.
- Set the output shape — enter an even pixel width and height, or choose a ready-made social-media or common video-size preset.
- Keep or crop the frame — use Fit within to preserve all content with black bars, or Crop to fill and select the part of the frame that should stay visible.
- Preview and resize — compare the original, resized, or split real-frame preview, choose a separate output folder, and resize the complete batch.
Key features
- Video-folder resizing — resize every supported video in one folder.
- Exact dimensions — create a fixed width and height from 64 to 7680 pixels.
- Ready-made sizes — start with Instagram portrait or square, TikTok/Reels, YouTube, YouTube Short, Facebook landscape, 4K output, Full HD, HD 720p, SD 480p, or VGA dimensions.
- Framing control — fit content within the target frame, crop it to fill using a nine-point focus anchor, or draw a crop frame on a real preview.
- Real-frame preview — compare original, resized, and split views before processing the batch.
- Encoding control — choose CRF quality, Fast/Medium/Slow encoding, and audio bitrate.
- Safe local outputs — set the folder and suffix, skip existing copies, cancel a batch safely, and review activity logs.
