Music Personas

A music persona is a reusable musical direction. It helps BMG carry the same character across different tracks without making you rewrite the full direction every time.

What a persona includes

• Direction — the overall musical character
• Good for — the kind of work the direction supports
• Note — your own reminder or creative context
• Do and Avoid rules — guidance that is added to every request using that persona

Starter personas

BMG includes Narration Music, Brand & Product Music, Focus Music, Cinematic Story Music, and Creator Music. They are editable; changing one is a convenient way to create your own house style.

Edit or create one

On 1. Brief, click the pencil beside the persona picker. Give the persona a clear name, then adjust the direction, personal note, goals, and do/avoid rules. Goals and preset rules are chosen from lists; you can also add custom rules.

Keep a persona broad enough to reuse. Put the specifics of the next track—such as its video topic or emotional beat—in the brief.
