Getting started

  1. Select the input folder that contains the PDFs you want to reduce.
  2. Review preflight results. Encrypted, signed, and malformed files are skipped.
  3. Choose Smart, Smaller, or Flatten. Smart is the structure-preserving default.
  4. Inspect the Original, Compressed, or Split page preview.
  5. Keep the default compressed output subfolder or enter another subfolder name. Turn on Skip already compressed files only for repeat runs that should leave existing results alone.
  6. Start compression, review each result, and open the output folder in Explorer when the batch finishes.

Inputs are never overwritten. A new output with a conflicting name receives a safe numbered name by default. Candidates are validated and retained only when they are smaller than their source.
