What we collect

3thousand30 does not collect, store, or receive your player profiles, game history, moves, board positions, settings, AI profile names, model choices, or API keys through this app.

  • No account or registration is required.
  • No analytics or advertising SDK is included.
  • No telemetry or crash reports are sent to 3thousand30 by the app.

What stays on your device

Human profiles, AI profile settings, game history, moves, result cards, board preferences, and sound settings are stored locally on the device running the app.

In the desktop runtime, the API key for an AI profile is saved through the operating system’s native secure store. It is not included in a PGN file, FEN position, copied game record, shared result image, or the local archive.

AI providers

When you test an AI profile or allow it to make a move, the app sends the current chess position and the request settings required by that profile to the provider you chose. This can include the selected model, provider-compatible base URL, style, temperature, and a credential needed by that provider.

Those requests are governed by the selected provider’s privacy policy and terms. You choose whether to add an AI profile and which provider to use. 3thousand30 does not operate those providers and does not receive the prompt or response sent between the app and the provider.

Sharing and exported files

You choose when to save, copy, or share a result card, PGN, or FEN. A result card may contain the final board, player and AI profile display names, outcome, final move, time control, and game length. It never contains an API key or the private connection settings behind an AI profile.

Social, documentation, support, Microsoft Store, and other external links open outside the app. Those destinations are governed by their own privacy policies and your browser settings.

Microsoft Store and Windows

Microsoft, Windows, and the Microsoft Store may independently collect installation, licensing, reliability, or crash information under their own terms. This policy does not govern data collected by Microsoft or by an AI provider.
