An AI profile cannot connect

Check its provider, base URL, model, and API key, then use Test connection. A test calls the actual model and confirms that it can return a legal chess move.

An AI is thinking for too long

Wait for the configured timeout. If the provider does not answer, use Retry move. You can also switch that seat to another AI profile without discarding the game.

A move is rejected

The app rejects moves that do not match the current legal board state. This protects the game from malformed or stale model responses. Retry the move; if it persists, choose another model or AI profile.

I cannot find a completed game

Open Game history and search by player or AI profile name, result, time control, or move notation. Matches are stored locally under the human profiles used in the game.
