What we collect

3thousand30 does not collect, store, or receive your source PDFs, protected PDFs, filenames, folders, passwords, permission choices, metadata settings, page previews, or batch results through this app.

What happens on your device

Batch Protect PDFs processes selected PDF files and password material locally on your Windows device. Encryption, permission setup, output validation, wrong-password checks, progress reporting, and cleanup happen on the PC running the app.

Your PDF contents and passwords are not uploaded to 3thousand30 servers.

Password handling

Passwords are held only for the active workflow. They are not written to preferences, logs, filenames, crash reports, or documentation links. The app clears password material where the platform and libraries permit.

You are responsible for saving owner passwords somewhere secure if you need to retain them after the batch.

Source and output files

The app reads only the PDF files or folders you select. It writes protected copies to the output folder you choose.

Batch Protect PDFs does not overwrite an input file directly. It writes a temporary candidate, validates it with the intended credentials, checks that a wrong password is rejected, and then promotes the output using the app’s collision rules.

Signed, encrypted, and unsupported PDFs

Signed PDFs, already-encrypted PDFs, malformed PDFs, and unsupported PDFs are skipped when processing them would be unsafe or ambiguous. Skipped files remain in their original location and are not modified.

Windows and the Microsoft Store may independently collect installation, purchase, licensing, reliability, or crash information under Microsoft’s own terms.

Documentation, support, Microsoft Store, and website links open in your browser. Those destinations are governed by their own privacy policies and browser settings.
